Need For Speed The Run Review

I thoroughly enjoyed this game.

Need for Speed The Run is a racing game. It was released in 2011. There is plenty of new locations and scenery in this game.
The game begins in SanFrancisco and is a cross country race across the United States and ends in New York.

The plot starts with a mechanic and street racer called Jack who owes money to the mob. The only way he can get his life back together is to enter a race called “The Run”. It is a 3000-mile race across America from SanFrancisco to New York. To win the run you have to beat 2010 other race car drivers.

The visuals are stunning in this game. The few hundred miles you actually drive takes through many different landscapes. A national park, mountains, motorways and through the city. The cars handled well and most of the stages were completed with relative ease except a few. I found myself playing through this game a few times as it's such a nice drive.

I played this game with an Xbox 360 controller for windows. It performed well. I found it much easier than the keyboard.
The music is fun while you play the game also. The graphics performed well playing this on a high end laptop as well as the desktop.
The game was completed in a few hours and I felt I got my money’s worth.
I give it 8/10
